Position of Legal Adviser in the European Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Executive Agency (CINEA)

The European Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Executive Agency (CINEA) seeks to recruit  a Legal Adviser.

The European Climate, Environment and Infrastructure Executive Agency (CINEA) has been established by the European Commission to support stakeholders in delivering the European Green Deal through high-quality programme management that helps to implement projects contributing to decarbonisation and sustainable growth. CINEA implements parts of EU funding programmes for transport, energy, environment and climate action with strong focus on contributing to the European Commission's Green Deal priority.

As a member of the Legal Sector, the job holder will be responsible for providing legal analysis, advice and support on legal, regulatory and institutional aspects related to the management of the Programmes delegated to the Agency. The job holder shall also provide legal counsel and advice on horizontal issues related to the management of the Agency and its staff.

Under the supervision of the Head of the legal Sector and Head of Unit, Legal Adviser shall work autonomously but should be able to coordinate their work with that of the other legal advisers in the same team. They shall also work closely and collaborate fully with a wider team of colleagues from the Agency, the parent DGs and other services of the European Commission and other Union Institutions and bodies as necessary.
